This is what we call…

a small sample/ not the most valid claim in the world…http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/705987

It’s still a homogeneous subset… I worked with an amazing amazing attending who specialized in CVD. He admittedly had to hound his patients to get anything done…but…they stayed well. It’s a roll of the dice…sometimes patients are compliant…sometimes they’re not…I’m not big on reiterating this fact for specific diseases. That’s why you get paid the big bucks! You need to educate your patients who might not otherwise educate themselves. Empowering patients works in some cases but not all– and no, that’s not my quote, that’s straight from the brilliant attending’s mouth.

In other news…I just discovered that season tickets to the Yankees are about $7K. Ah well…my gift intentions are good, at least.
